1. The transverse section would show the actin and myosin as small dots whereas the longitudinal sections would show the light/dark bands on the sarcomere.
2. The small dots represent actin as it is much thinner than myosin and is positioned so that it surrounds myosin. It represents the sarcomere (the I band where only the small dots appear)
3. The figure in the left shows both thick and thin dots, whereas the figures in the middle and right shows just one type of dot. The thin dots are much more abundant, whereas the thick dots are more scarce. Both dots are evenly spaced out, following a pattern.
4. The figure on the very left is the A section as both actin and myosin are shown (as thin and thick dots respectively). The actin, or the smaller dots, surround the myosin, or the thicker dots. The picture in the middle shows just myosin so it must be in the H zone (just the thick dots). The figure on the right shows the I band as only actin is shown meaning it shows the two edges of two sarcomeres (no thick dots)
